The list below contains the names of Brown County residents that served in the Armed Forces during Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Originally, these names were proudly displayed on stars decorating a tree on the Courthouse lawn. The stars have long been removed and most given to the service member or family. The names below are the remaining heroes of the county and we would love to present them with their star of thanks and to show how proud all of Brown County is of service.
Any one knowing any of the county’s heroes please have them contact the Board of Commissioners office at 937-378-3956 to arrange for the service member or family to receive the county’s token of appreciation for their service.
