The Treasureris the custodian of all of the county's revenue and assets. The Treasurer's banking function includes serving as the county's chief investment officer. Under strict legal guidelines, the Treasurer invests unspent revenue in interest-bearing commericial funds that generate added revenue for the county.

Real and personal property taxes are collected by the Treasurer, in addition to estate taxes and taxes on manufactured homes. The Treasurer collects delinquent taxes.
