Activity Overview
All the activities under the CHIP program are designed to assist low-to-moderate Income homeowners with needed repairs to their homes and to restore the existing housing stock in Brown County.
The current activities for homeowners are:
Generally, eligible applicants will have their homes evaluated for needed repair on a first come, first considered basis. The CHIP Rehabilitation Specialist is responsible for the evaluation of the homes and for the development of the scope of work for each project.
Generally Eligible Means:
This program is sponsored by the Brown County Board of Commissioners through funding provided by the Ohio Department of Development, Office of Community Enhancements and is administered by the Commissioners Development Department. |
